Tommy Stinson – the Hudson resident rocker best known for his tenure in The Replacements, Guns N’ Roses and his current band Bash & Pop – has organized Safe at Home, a pair of hometown benefit concerts that will feature live music from a plethora of national and regional musicians with all proceeds going directly to the non-profit Hudson Little League Association.
The first event of the doubleheader will be held at Hudson Brewing Company at 12noon on Saturday, May 5 featuring Elvis Perkins, Brian Dewan, Chops & Sauerkraut, Magic Stones, Rebecca Borrer, Stinson’s own Cowboys in the Campfire and other special guests. Patrons must be 21 and older unless accompanied by an adult. The suggested minimum donation at the door is $15.
The second event will be held at Club Helsinki in Hudson at 7pm on Saturday, May 12, featuring Alejandro Escovedo, Elvis Perkins, Bash & Pop, Jesse Malin, Dust Bowl Faeries and special guests. There will also be a silent auction with local wares, art and music memorabilia. Patrons must be 21 and older unless accompanied by an adult. The suggested minimum donation is $25 for general admission and $35 for reserved seating.
